Ms. Adriana Barrera, Founder of BARLAW – Barrera & Asociados, was recognised in the Women’s IP World 2025 Ranking for her leadership in shaping IP law in Latin America. Her firm was also named “Peruvian Firm of the Year” at the 2025 Managing IP Awards in New York, its fifth win, honouring BARLAW’s continued innovation, impactful work, and Adriana’s enduring influence in the region’s intellectual property field.

Dr. Shweta Singh, Founder of Ennoble IP, was ranked under Women’s IP World 2025, received the Canadian Global Award, and was named among the Top 20 Women Leaders Globally. A respected IP attorney and entrepreneur, she is known for purpose-driven leadership. Her firm delivers affordable, high-quality IP services worldwide, reflecting its expanding influence on innovation, education, and access to intellectual property protection.

Vanessa Abdel-Razak, Founder of Abdel-Razak & Associates and lawyer at the Port-au-Prince Bar, was recently re-elected as Secretary General of the Franco-Haitian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. With over 15 years of experience, she remains committed to strengthening economic ties between France and Haiti. Despite current challenges, she continues to drive innovation and sustainable development for a more stable, prosperous future.

Ms. Sarah Anku, Global Managing Partner at SN Anku IP Firm, was recognised in the Women’s IP World 2025 Ranking. Her advocacy for inclusive innovation was recently reflected in the firm’s involvement at the 2025 National Girls’ Speech and Debate Championship, where they reinforced the message that creativity is valuable and worthy of protection, especially among emerging young voices.

Ms. Anomi Wanigasekera, Partner and Head of IP at Julius & Creasy, was ranked under Women’s IP World 2025. Her leadership was recently demonstrated as the firm co-hosted INTA’s first pre-annual meeting reception in Colombo, Sri Lanka, highlighting South Asia’s growing role in global IP. She emphasised that trademark registration is a vital first step in protecting brand owners and consumers in today’s dynamic IP environment.


Join Us at Upcoming Global IP Events Where We’ll Be Exhibiting (September–November 2025)

The final quarter of 2025 will host three major international conferences shaping the future of intellectual property, where our team will proudly be exhibiting and engaging with the global IP community. From 13–16 September, the AIPPI World Congress will take place in Yokohama, Japan, and we’ll be exhibiting at Booth 26. The event brings together over 2,000 IP professionals to explore critical topics such as AI and copyright, FRAND, UPC case law, and the role of IP in gaming and the metaverse. Just days later, from 16 - 19 September, the MARQUES Annual Conference in The Hague, Netherlands, will focus on brand protection, design rights, cross-border enforcement, and sustainability in IP law. Rounding off the season, IP Service World will return to Munich, Germany, with our team exhibiting at T1 - 69 from 25–26 November, offering Europe’s leading B2B platform for IP management featuring expert-led sessions, vendor showcases, and the latest in patent data, software, and portfolio strategy. We look forward to connecting with the global IP community at these key events.

A special thank you to our wonderful friend and podcast host, Michele S. Katz, Co-Founding Partner at Advitam IP, for hosting the Women’s IP World podcast over the past few years. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you, and we truly appreciate your dedication and hard work. Together, we’ve connected with thousands of professionals worldwide, and we’re excited to share that Michele will return as host for Season 5 of the podcast.

Michele was recently featured on WGN Radio with host Karen Conti, where she discussed copyright infringement in the digital age and what to do if you’ve unknowingly posted copyrighted content. Michele also explained the differences between copyrights, patents, and trademarks, further highlighting her commitment to public education and responsible IP awareness.
